hahahaha I like the "has worthwhile things to say" // also comma abuse

Well -- have you noticed -- okay, let's start from a better beginning. Paradisa as a whole seems to enjoy celebrating holidays from the planet Earth, and usually just a small portion of this planet. Over the last four/five years there've been multiple celebrations of holidays called "Christmas" and "Halloween" and "Valentines Day." They each happen on a specific date of the calendar. Christmas is on the 25th of December, Halloween the 31st of October, Valentines Day on the 14th of February. (These are just naming some of the most common reoccurring holidays.)

This last October heading into November saw another Earth holiday, from a different part of Earth. Unlike Halloween, which is apparently about being haunted by fake ghosts and eating copious amounts of candy, the November celebration seemed to be focused on celebrating the dead. During that celebration, the graveyard appeared, and any of us who had died before in Paradisa (or who died before coming here) found we had decorative paint on our faces that refused to come off. It's related to the holiday tradition somehow, but I imagine for people who had no record of their death previously it was shocking to realize that abruptly that they had died. I think everyone might have had a gravestone, but the only ones that stayed around were for those who had died at some point.

I wouldn't say it really bothers me? Or it does, but it bothers me because I can't remember, not that experience, nor any of the rest I had the other times I was here. I don't like memory being screwed around with like that.

Okay, I admit, I also don't like dying, or knowing I have died, but there's no point in worrying too much over that point. Most things and people die eventually, so it shouldn't be that surprising, right?
