[Dictated over the journal (though anyone in the Lux will also hear her saying it):]

Anyone that's been wondering when the Lux is gonna open back up, I have an answer for you. Today! Today it's back to... sort of what it was before.

The castle must've finished the repairs while we were all on board those ships. The graffiti though, from while we were gone, we cleaned that by hand and fixed the rest of the minor things that had been done by whoever was messing the castle up.

[She shakes her head, making a soft sound] Sorry, I'm sure most of you don't care how it got fixed, as long as it's fixed.

One thing, at least for the time being, is that I don't have a cook. I can do most the easy stuff, but for today I'm actually going to call a "Grilling Only" rule. If the calendar I keep is right - it's the Fourth and no one in their right mind actually cooks on a stove today.

As long as I can stick it on the grill, you can order it.

[there's the sound of light tapping, the tip of her ring finger hitting the surface of the bartop]

Oh! Before I forget, is there anyone in the castle that knows a lot about art, has some free time, needs a job, and can easily get to the city?

I think I needed the break, though, but I'm glad it's back too.

[and then the sad part] Yeah, I was handling things while the Lux was closed, but I don't want to put the burden on the townspeople. It's good for a temporary fix, but I'm trying to find someone new.

It's alright. Just another bump in the road. I'll sort things and if nothing else I'll just check back at the gallery a few times through the day. Just until things smooth over.

You mean besides being snatched by the navy and cleaning up vandalism attempts?

Pretty much the same as everyone else. Just picking up the pieces.

Well, I was trying to skip over those parts. [she frowns, because she's pretty sure that she shouldn't have phrased things so lightly]

If you need help with some of those pieces, you know I've got two hands. Very piece-picking-up friendly ones, too.

Mostly, I think I'd like company. The pieces are pretty much sorted, I guess. What can be salvaged. So it's just distractions and starting over.

At least most of my work is in town. I only had the one painting in the room.

Well, you know I am always up for distractions and being company. The bar is finally squared away and once I get someone to take over Sophie's position, things might get back to slightly normal.

We can do coffee or cupcakes or giant waffles. Or we can just relax in the sun room one day. My company it is yours to have.

... though maybe not together. I don't think even I would attempt coffee and beaches.

You are entirely welcome to vote all of the above and I can see the downside to beach coffee. It sounds sandy and hot.

Which beaches are meant to be. But I prefer only one of those with my coffee.
