[ Welcome to Purgatorio. It's the jewel of the ocean, the envy of the world, an island that's as pristine and polished as the Navy itself. People from all over the world come to enjoy the high culture. Of course, it's not like this is your first time visiting. It's where the Navy keeps it headquarters, after all, and that's exactly where you're heading. ]

[ Your wise and venerable leader, the Fleet Admiral, has called all of you Admirals together for a meeting. New assignments, updates, and the current going-ons will all be addressed. It's kind of a big deal. When it's time, get your asses to the meeting. But until then, take some time to chill out with your Navy bros. ]

[Hey look, Harvey's actually having a quiet moment for once. How... rare... He meanders up to the bar, collects a pair of glasses and a couple rather old bottles of red and white wine, half full naturally, and wanders off to find a table in the corner somewhere so he can IGNORE. ALL OF YOU]

[His wide-brimmed hat is tossed onto the table, followed shortly by the eyepatch. Because... goddamn if that patch isn't the most irritating, uncomfortable thing he's ever worn, and it's not like the other admirals haven't seen the gaping hole where his eye should be at some point or other. And truth be told, at least half of him didn't give a shit even if they hadn't, nor if any of them they were even distinctly bothered by the long, gouged out scars where the shrapnel and canon fire that had taken his eye had taken most of his left side with it]

[He's just here for a couple glasses of wine and a preferably partner-less assignment. Lawd...]

[ Guess who's going to make his way over with his own bottle? (It's rum. The good stuff.)

If Harvey guessed his boss, Tony, then he was right!

Tony takes a seat across from him, pouring himself a glass of his drink. ]

The meeting's a while off yet. You don't intend to drink by yourself until then, do you?

[ Tony's one of those who's seen Harvey's eye, and he doesn't look perturbed in the least. He had his own battle scars from shrapnel, after all.... rather more lethal ones, if less visible. ]

[Buuuut it's not like he can protest without coming across as completely disingenuous so he inclines his head slightly in acknowledgement instead and chooses... the glass of red wine for now]

I'll take that as a "Yes." [ Tony sips his drink. Mmmm, rum. ] Good thing I'm here to keep you at least marginally socialized. [ He takes note of the wine Harvey chose as well. Good wine, great year. Harvey had good taste. ]

Mmm... whatever would I do without you... [Takes a sip of his own and... looks marginally surprised] This is good.

[Because it's not so much that he has good taste, though he does sometimes. It's more that... both bottles are twenty years old and goodness if that isn't just... wonderfully relevant to his interests lskjdf]

It's a good year. Good vineyard, too. [ Why yes, Tony does know his wines as well as his hard liquor. He's an all-around alcoholic.

And somehow still the Fleet Admiral. How does that work? ]

[Gives his glass a considering look and takes another sip] I suppose you would know, hmm...

That's right. I've paid them a few [ personal ] visits myself.

[ A small pause... ]

Lots of pirate attacks in their area, we keep them safe. They send us a few bottles every year in thanks. [ That's right, and Tony makes damn sure they're well protected. ]

[Tilts his head a little] Almost convenient... that they always attack the places with the best stuff, hmm? [Glances at the bar. Seems like there's universally good alcohol... just... everywhere. Maybe it pays to have an alcoholic Fleet Admiral sometimes...]

Pirates aren't that stupid. They know better than to attack a place with nothing of worth.

And if they do... well, we don't really lose anything, do we?

[And while that policy probably at one point bugged the shit out of him - THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING PEOPLE NOT... GOODS D8 - it... doesn't as much anymore. Smiles sort of... terribly]

Still... [ He pauses from a moment to take a sip from his glass. ] No reason not to work it into our favor when we can.

I'm going to go prepare for the meeting. [ He moves to get up... ] Unless you'd rather hang out for a bit longer?
