It has been a year. Not what one would call long, but hardly a small amount of time either.
[...] So much has happened. [a major understatement, isn't this] When I look back on how I was when I'd first arrived, all hung up on the issues at hand which had yet to be settled, I know for certain that my priorities have changed.
Here, I possess all that I could want and need, both material and otherwise. Paradisa may not always be benevolent, yet it can also be a reprieve at its best. I worry that I could lose the awareness that he could show up any day. If so, shouldn't I make the most of my time here, before it happens?
I am beginning to understand why [names...appearing in her mind...damn] some would prefer not to leave, all things considered.
[wry laugh. At least she knows she's hairsplitting. Anniversaries seem to have such effects]

[the journal picks up the crackle of paper, and then her voice after a few moments]
I don't think it's likely that I was the only one who received a message under my door.
Does anybody know what "Festa della Primavera" means? It's not a language I understand.
