Well, I'm alive! If anyone cares. Not that most do--oh Alistair, the skills you possess using the magical book, simply marvelous! [ he stops, and facepalms, really he's talking to himself, great way to start an entry man ]

I think that little... adventure made me actually miss spending weeks on end banished to the kitchens of the monastery and that wasn't fun. Really! The head cook was a crabby old bag and the servants weren't that nice either, though I am pretty sure they were ordered to be horrible, I swear I heard her yelling at the one of the elves for days when he let me raid the larder that one time. He was never nice to me after that.

[ pause ] But that's not the point, the point is that she was a horrible woman and made my life hell and for at least three days I missed her--and the musty smell of a weeks worth of clothes thrown into the well.

[ that said he stares at the journal for a little bit ]

I hope I can finish that camping trip sometime, I like camping, it's fun. [ and normal, well as normal as it can be with the group he travels with ]
