The fact that they can use that kind of power in the Dead Zone...is really not very inspiring. Unless there's another area out there where we can use our abilities, we can't even put up a decent fight unless it's here.

And I amnot a fan of sitting around and waiting to be attacked. I didn't trust Joy, but burying her body was pretty much the opposite of fun. I'm gonna see if I can track them and at least get a better idea of what we're up against here.

They might not even be our enemies... Theft and suspicious sniping aside, one of them did help us with that doctor.

Gunmetal and titanium panels –– or so I'm guessin' –– with blue lights in the helmet, and round lights set in the hands and chest. Flew, too.

Well they came here and killed Joy, the spider who needed our help and became Queen of the...spiders or whatever? Yeah, she's dead, and apparently she had some kind of information to share. Your 'friend' wouldn't know anything about that, would they?

There used to be; I don't know if there is now. Way back, before they got flipped, what's our territory now used to be Dead Zone, and the current Dead Zone was perfectly fine.

I think that's the worst part of it. Right now, we don't know who our enemies are and who our friends are, if it's even that black and white. Who can say why Joy was here, or what the armored people are trying to do?

Well, I do know one thing. Anyone who laughs after they've killed someone isn't a person I'd turn my back on.

I still have no idea where they've come from, though I've read up on your troubles on them. Anything in the journal, anyhow. Between that and what my contact said, I don't think you were given the real story.

Tony's setting up a system that could let us track whenever they come into our airspace. Considering they've entered our airspace twice now and hung around long enough unnoticed, next time, we might just catch them.

What makes you think they're working together? You saying she died on purpose to fool us?

He seems alright, but I doubt he's all iron on the inside. It has to hurt, seeing something you made in the hands of someone using it for destruction.

I can understand that.

Maybe if we're lucky, we can find their base and steal a suit back for him. That should give us an edge, right?

People out here ain't all one big happy family. My contact is from a group that split from ours years ago; they take a much more... aggressive view of the castle. With an outsider's perspective, I think this whole "save the queen" idea was tripe from the beginning. A trick to get you in. Maybe kill you all, by working together. If the suits ever had anything against the spiders, they could've killed 'em outright.

Now, though, I think that relationship has soured.

Better yet, if we did that, we could get our hands on whatever technology lets them take machinery out there, and replicate it.

Well I know a lot of us were suspicious of Joy's reasons, but...

Guess it doesn't matter now. But if they want to kill us so badly, why did they help us with that monster? Why haven't they just tried blowing the castle up with us in it? They've already proved they can sneak up on us, and now they've lost the element of surprise.

Well Sylvanas is no stranger to tracking and stealth, and I'm no stranger to technology. Hopefully something'll come out of this.

Haven't got a clue about the monster, but do you think they're really dumb enough to waltz back to the castle and pick fights? Maybe four or five of 'em are capable of destroying the castle outright, with their abilities, but I'm willing to bet you've got a few capable of stopping them. It wouldn't do 'em much good, anyhow –– last I heard, the castle had still put a stopper on death.

...Which I guess leads me to my next question, and it's is something I've wondered for awhile.

Can we die out there? The journals obviously work, but would the magic return us to the castle two weeks later if we died past the barrier? You should know by now.

I'm not gonna be stupid and try to attack them. I just want answers. The fewer of us that go, the better. We'll move faster and have a better chance of remaining undetected.
